About Me

My name is Gabriel Avalos and I am a cinematographer based out of St. Louis, MO. A lot of what I love to shoot is narrative work. I love shooting stories and collaborating with other filmmakers to create one cohesive film. My style of shooting involves using a lot of natural light, minimal setups, and using the camera as a third character. Although, I am not afraid to think outside the box and stylize the way I shoot if the project needed it. Sometimes I venture into shooting music videos, documentaries, or passion projects. I am really into photography as well and have a few a cameras I love to shoot with, mostly taking pictures of what captures my eye at the moment.
